FACTS TO KNOW....

The 2010 census reports the population in
Upton County was 3,355.

Rankin is the county seat of Upton County and
covers 1,242 square miles.

Upton County was founded in 1887, and was
named for two brothers: John C. and William F.
Upton, both Colonels in the Confederate Army.
