(EEO) Statement
The Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission is committed
to providing fair and equal treatment to all employees without
regard to race, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy,
national origin, citizenship or immigration status, disability,
military status, or age. All employment applicants will receive
the same commitment. The Commissions directors and all
employees govern their conduct by the qualities of public
accountability, high ethical standards, and respect for all
persons doing business with the PBRPC.
The Commission strives to ensure full compliance with all
EEO requirements, laws, and regulations, while attracting
and hiring qualified individuals who mirror the regions
diversity. Through our employment practices, the Commission
hopes to foster and promote employees in an environment conducive
for growth.
The Commission does not condone any employee degradation
or abusive conduct towards individuals external to the organization
and considers these actions a violation of its EEO policy.
The EEO commitment is communicated with the public and employees
through policy manuals, employee orientation, supplemental
training, affirmative action statements on job applications,
outreach efforts, advertisements, and other media.
