The Big Ones – Critical Call Taking and Dispatching

Public safety telecommunicators are expected to process and be triumphant when confronted with the most devastating and terrifying calls – from the moment they emerge from training. This course is for the new, the seasoned, and everyone in between. Burnout is a regularly encountered part of the dispatcher career cycle, and this course has the power to reinvigorate those who are tired and/or questioning their choice of 911. We will teach the THRIVE components of wickedly great 911 survivors! Compact and rich with audio & video, students will lock in and have a front row seat to navigating everything from active threat situations to occupied submerged vehicles, unexpected childbirth, massive fires and numerous other “the big one” moments.
