AGENDA
1. Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Call meeting to order and establish a quorum.
3. Consider approving the minutes of the previous meeting held January 8, 2025.
4. Recognize 2024 PBRPC Board of Directors’ Chairman, the Honorable Leo Hung, Reeves County Judge.
5. Consider approval of new PBRPC Board of Directors Member – the Honorable Craig Stoker, City of Odessa Council Member, replacing former City of Odessa Council Member Denise Swanner.
6. Consider the Executive Director’s appointment of Chief Chad Williams of Big Spring to the Domestic Preparedness Advisory Committee.
7. Consider approval of Executive Director’s appointments to the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee—County Judge Bryan Cox, Martin County; Carrie Bronaugh, Harmony Home Executive Director; Ray Vasquez, Director of School Safety & Security, Region 18 ESC; and Ronnie Golson, Director of Superintendent Support, Technology & Information Services, Region 18 ESC.
8. Consider approving Executive Director to submit an application to the Governor’s Public Safety Office titled “Regional Law Enforcement Training” for period September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2027.
9. Consider approving Executive Director to submit an application to the Governor’s Public Safety Office titled “Victims of Violent Crime Training for Law Enforcement” for period September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026.
10. Consider approving Executive Director to submit an application to the Governor’s Public Safety Office titled “Mental Health and De-escalation Training” for period October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
11. Consider approving Executive Director to submit an application to the Governor’s Public Safety Office titled “Homeland Security Regional Planning” for period October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
12. Consider approving Executive Director to submit an application to the Governor’s Public Safety Office titled “Regional Radio Interoperability System Maintenance and Sustainability for period October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
13. Hear Facility Project Committee report, consider approval of roof replacement bid.
14. Consider request for approval to create a new position of Program Manager in the Area Agency on Aging department, resulting in job transfer, job description change and pay increase for one employee; and a job re-classification, promotion with pay increase for one employee.
15. Consider approval of previous month(s) financial report.
16. Set date for the next PBRPC Board of Directors meeting.
