9-1-1 Public Education for Kids

The Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission (PBRPC) 9-1-1 Department provides 9-1-1 Public Education material for pre-K, elementary, and middle school children. Promotional materials include pencils, pens, crayons, activity books, and thumb bands among other things.

Public education materials — available in English and Spanish — are provided to residents in the region through school presentations, fairs, parades, and workshops. Materials are also available for local fire agencies, EMS agencies, and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) for general public distribution.  

Cell Phone Sally, the 9-1-1 mascot, is available to appear at these planned events or the costume is available for use. To request 9-1-1 Public Education material or the Cell Phone Sally costume, please email Susana Cardona or call (432) 262-4926.
