Texas’ Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission (PBRPC) was founded on the mission to help solve problems in the region. This is accomplished through collaboration, cooperation, and coordination between different intergovernmental entities. This commission conducts comprehensive regional planning efforts while simultaneously providing a forum for study and solutions to area problems. This partnership can increase the strength of the region’s workforce, solid infrastructure, funding, expansions, and more!

The PBRPC assists in important programs in the region, including those directly related to Homeland Security, 9-1-1 Communications, Criminal Justice, Area Agency of Aging, and Environmental and Economic Development.
