Permian Basin International Oil Show takes place October 17-19 in Odessa, TX

Showcasing the trends and advancements in the oil industry, the Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS) takes place October 17-19 at the Ector County Coliseum in Odessa, Texas. The Permian Basin community is among the highest-producing oil and natural gas regions in the United States.

PBRPC staff will be attending this year’s oil show, with the support of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Protecting our environment through the reduction of waste and encouraging individuals to commit to safe digging practices is an important component of the Permian Basin region. As such, the PBRPC has partnered with 8-1-1 and the Texas Damage Prevention Council to spread the word about calling 8-1-1 and preventing injuries that may result from unsafe digging. Always remember to call 8-1-1 before you dig!
