General Victim Assistance - Direct Services Programs 

These programs are to provide services and assistance directly to victims of crime to speed their recovery and aid them through the criminal justice process. Services may include the following: responding to the emotional and physical needs of crime victims; assisting victims in stabilizing their lives after victimization; assisting victims to understand and participate in the criminal justice system; and providing victims with safety and security.

Violent Crimes Against Women Criminal Justice and Training

Projects - Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Dating Violence, and Stalking Programs 

This funding is to assist in developing and strengthening effective law enforcement, prosecution, and court strategies to combat family violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking crimes against women and to develop and strengthen victim services in such cases.

General Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Programs

This funding supports programs that prevent violence in and around schools, improve the juvenile justice system, and develop effective education, training, prevention, diversion, treatment, and rehabilitation programs in the area of juvenile delinquency.

Criminal Justice Programs

The goal of these programs is to reduce crime and improve the criminal justice system.
