Welcome to the Homeland Security Department

PBRPC's Homeland Security Department serves the region by:

Providing information and assistance to PBRPC's local government members in the planning and implementing of homeland security programs;
Integrating regional planning and priorities with state agency activities;
Assisting Texas Association of Regional Councils (TARC), Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), the Governor's Homeland Security Director, the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), and other state agencies that administer emergency preparedness programs in their work with PBRPC's local government members.
