Permian Basin Law Enforcement Academy

PBLEA’s mission is to provide required training for exisiting law enforcement and recruits to be competent and confident Texas Peace Officers.
We take this mission very seriously as our recruits employed by regional law enforcement agencies will immediately serve as active peace officers on patrol after the academy.
PBLEA works with Police Chiefs and Sheriffs in our region to constantly plan to enroll their employed recruits in upcoming academies.

Any candidates not currently employed by an agency who would like to enroll in the Academy should contact PBLEA directly.  Before contacting, please review:

Independent candidates are enrolled on a case-by-case basis.

State Testing Fees:    $45
Agency Graduates:    $25
