Golden years shine bright at Midland Senior Celebration

MIDLAND, Texas — The red carpet was rolled out Thursday as more than 400 senior citizens gathered at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion for the second annual Senior Celebration, hosted by the Area Agency on Aging of the Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission.
The free event celebrated the lives and contributions of the region’s older adults with music, food, games, and information from local organizations. Seniors enjoyed manicures, photo opportunities, prizes and fellowship, all in a space designed to uplift and honor them.
